MONEY FOR C.O.R.S.O.
Total Passes £160,000 (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 20. With money still coming in the amount collected for the Freedom from Hunger campaign by C.0.R.5.0. on Saturday has passed £160,000. Today £26.000 was added to the provisional total. With money still to be counted the Wellington contribution is £19,000. The collection increased the amount given to C.0.R.S.O. this year to £278,654. So far £16,571 had been raised in the Christchurch metropolitan area, the organiser (Mr G. H. Coley) said last night. Money had still to come in from a number of zones in the city. Mr Coley said £3400 was received yesterday.
