Mrs Gee May Win Cup

"The Press" Special Service INVERCARGILL. The Canterbury indoor bowler, Mrs B. Gee, is a leading candidate for the Truth Cup, awarded to the most successful woman bowler at the New Zealand championships. Mrs Gee outlasted Canterbury’s other candidates for the New Zealand singles title, which was won at Invercargill yesterday by A. Johnston (Southland). Four Canterbury bowlers— J. A. Greer, Mrs B. Penney, L. Mayhew and Mrs Gee—reached the last 32.

Only Mrs Gee won through to the quarter-finals, in which she was beaten by R. Garrick (Southland).
