House Sold For £8000
A brick house at 100 Harakeke street, Fendalton, was sold for £BOOO at public auction yesterday. The property was offered on account of the estate of Miss V. F. Stewart by Mr E. G. Keenan. The house has two reception rooms, two bedrooms, kitchenette, sunroom, bathroom, hall, and laundry. There is also a garage on the section of 24 perches. The opening bid was £6500. There were six bids of £250. A section of 22.3 perches next to 69 North parade, Shirley, was sold for £l3OO. The section was offered on account of the estate of Eva Lillian Ferguson by Mr Denys Chapman. The initial bid was £lOOO. There were six bids of £5O.
