Colts Two Easy Wins
The Canterbury Colta men’s basketball team followed Its win over the Mid-Canterbury A •ide at Cowles Stadium on the previous evening with two resounding victories at the Canterbury regional colts tournament at Ashburton on Saturday evening. Canterbury trounced South Canterbury, 115-24, in Its first game, and then had another easy win over Mid-Canterbury, 17-25.
Canterbury will now travel to Nelson on July 30 to play Nelson in an elimination round for the national colts championship. Mid-Canterbury beat South Canterbury, 63-18, in the other game played at Saturday's tournament. Scores:
