Bromley In Fine Form L. Bromley (Post Office B), •ne of the most consistent players in the Canterbury Interclub billiards competition, gave his finest performance of the 1966 season in the final game of the first round. Matched against T. Mintrom (Woolston B), be scored 163 points in only four visits to the table and was untroubled to win. 200-87. Other players to Impress were K. Murphy (Woolston A) and P. Golding (Post Office A). E O’Callaghan (U.S.A.) made no race of his match with V. Choate (Christchurch W.M.C.), w inning, 200-64. This was a most disappointing exhibition by Choate, who has been in good form all season. N. Thomas (New Brighton) played well to record a break of 52. the highest of the evening’s play. Carson 200), R.S.A. 1 (O’Callaghan 200. Coilia 194, Brough 135).
