Family Protection Act Order
A Supreme Court order made under the Family Protection Act by Mr Justice Wilson has divided the residue of the £3OOO estate of William Albert Churchill, a retired carpenter, of Woodend, North Canterbury, in two equal portions between Doreen Hazel McConaghey, a married woman, and Churchill’s seven children (in equal shares) — Cecil William Churchill, of Heathcote, a wharf labourer, Arthur Ronald Churchill, a driver, of Akaroa, Norman Spencer Churchill, a carpenter, of Rangiora, Winston Churchill, unemployed, of Reefton, Lloyd George Churchill; a carpenter, of Ashburton, Grace Isabella Hurley, a married woman, of Christchurch, and Ruby Maud Hardy, a married woman, of Ashburton.
