STUDENTS’ BOARD

Presbyterian Venture

An accommodation bureau to help students, apprentices and other young people to find acceptable board is being established in Christchurch by the Association of Presbyterian Women. For a long time Presbyterian women had been concerned at the lack of board in good homes, and they hoped to overcome this through church members and others who were willing to fill this need, said Mrs M. B. Smith, of St. David’s Presbyterian Church, Sydenham. Through the bureau, the association hopes to provide board offering good study conditions for those seeking them, and a Christian family atmosphere for the many newcomers to the city.
