Levin Airfield
Levin, 59 miles from Wellington, is to have an airfield for business and aero club traffic. This is a result of recent discussions between the Levin Borough Council and the Wellington Aero Club. The airfield will be south of the town and near the Main Trunk railway, on the site of a wartime Royal New Zealand Air Force base. The borough council will finance the airfield.
