Paradise Ducks

Two Paradise ducks, not often seen in Christchurch, were sighted in a paddock off Bridle Path road yesterday morning. Mrs E. King-Turner said she saw the two brightly coloured birds fly from a paddock behind her house towards the Heathcote river. Not able to identify the black, white, green, and grey coloured birds she rang the Canterbury Museum, a staff member of which readily identified them as Paradise ducks
