Mayoral Driver
The Mayor of Dunedin (Mr R. J. Calvert), will drive the new mayoral car, a £2449 Humber Imperial, to Central Otago soon to run it in. The Dunedin City Council gave its approval this week. The chairman of the committee (Cr. H. S. J. Tilly) said that it was in the interests of the city that the car should be properly run in in a good; long drive before it under-i took the succession of shorty runs when used for normal mayoral duties in the city. '
