(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The butterfly swimmer, Miss K. Taylor, who is attempting to force her way into New Zealand's Empire Games team, covered 220 yards in 2min 47sec in an official trial at Auckland yesterday.
This was Bsec better than the 17-year-old’s previous best, made at the time nominations were taken.
