Three Injured On Roads
Mr J. J. Porter, of 10 Thomas street, suffered head injuries and shock in a collision between a bicycle and car in Linwood avenue near McGregors road about 5.45 p.m. yesterday. Mr Porter was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where his condition was reported to be satisfactory.
A motor-cyclist, Mr J. A. Fail, of 10 Robins street, suffered facial injuries and concussion in a collision with a car at the corner of Colombo street and Edgeware road about 6.55 p.m. He was treated at the hospital and discharged. Walter Raymond Hobbs, of 26 Aorangi road, suffered head injuries in a collision between a car and truck at the corner of Kilmore and Colombo streets about 10.10 a.m. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where his condition was reported to be satisfactory.
