Fewer Are Cycling

The number of riders registered with the New Zealand Amateur Cycling Association has fallen to the lowest total for years. This is. revealed in the association’s annual report published yesterday. There were 638 riders registered for the year, the lowest total since the 1950’5.
Even when the unregistered boys’ section is considered the total of 1067 active competitors is below the 1953 figure.
