Spying On Students
Sir, —As a student, 1 am alarmed at the recent reports of spying at Auckland University. Could this sort of thing be happening elsewhere? How can we be confident of our rights of free speech? What is the meaning of mutters of disapproval at my new, red mini-skirt? I should like to know where mere interest ends, and where spying begins.—Yours, etc., MILLICENT SPROGGS. June 4, 1966.
