Air Firms Upset

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, June 6. The Society of British Aerospace Companies, which represents about 500 firms with aircraft and space interests, said today that it was gravely concerned at the British Government’s decision towithdraw from the European Launcher Development Organisation.

“The full effects of this decision, either on the British aerospace industry or in Europe, cannot be judged until it is known what alternative programes are planned, and the S.B.A.C. wil make a further statement in due course,” the statement said.
