AMNESTY
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) ROME, June 6. Hundreds of prisoners were released from Italian gaols yesterday under an amnesty law that came into force on Saturday. Thousands more will be released from today and hundreds of thousands of pending court cases will be struck off the books as a result of the amnesty, granted in honour of the 20th anniversary of the Italian Republic.
