THEFT OF LETTERS

(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. March 14. A 32-year-old married man with 11 years of Post Office service pleaded guilty in the Palmerston North Magistrate's Court today to nine charges of theft of letters l containing £33 10s. The accused, Robert Thomas Johnson, a clerk, was convicted and remanded on bail to Monday for a probation officer's report and sentence.
