Rugby Union Commended
A motion commending the New Zealand Rugby Union for deciding not to send a team to tour South Africa was passed by the Christchurch Presbytery at its monthly meeting yesterday. “We are fully aware of the magnitude of the decision, and. those who follow the game, realise the gap it will cause," said the chairman of the Presbytery’s public questions committee (the Rev. E. H. Z. Chapman) in moving the motion.
