Southlanders Win
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL. Two Southland boxers, Johnny Henderson and Dennis Hagen, both had points wins in 10-round professional bouts against Aucklanders last night. In a welter-weight contest Hagen (lOst 71b) beat Steve Wheeler (lOst 21b) and in a middle-weight bout, Henderson (list 71b) beat Tahifo Kivalu (list 7jlb). Wheeler, who conceded Hagen reach, height and weight, won the early rounds but Hagen got on top later.
