Maunsell To Fight Fields
Brian Maunseil, the New Zealand professional light-weight titleholder, will box Jimmy Fields, the Californian Negro, at Canterbury Court on March 24. Fields boxed Manoel Santos, of Auckland, and lost narrowly on points at Wellington last night. Maunseil saw the bout. The Canterbury Boxing Association president (Mr E. G. Pocock) said he thought Maunseil and Fields, both attacking boxers, would be a good match.
