Heslop’s 70 Top Score Scoring was low in the Ellesmere Sub-Associatdon’s cricket competition on Saturday. The highest team score of the day was Lincoln’s 157 for four and the best indiivddual score—and the onfly half-century—W. Heslop’s 70 not out for Southbridge. Scores:— Southbridge 130 (W. Heslop 70 not out; T. Watson 5/28) beat Weedons 102 (P. Aitken 37; G. McEraith 5/20). Lincoln 157/4 (S. Quirk 47, A. Campbell 42 not out, W. Fiecken 30, T. McGCiinchy 24) beat Dunsandel 150 (M. Murray 35, C. Wilson 20, G. Brittan 20; Fiecken 4/25). Leeston 154/4 (P. Chamberta-in 36, M. Barclay 35, B. Free 29, L. McJarrow 20 not out) beat Irwehl 148 (J. Coe 47, J. Lay 35; Barclay 5/26, McJarrow 3/26).
