ASHLEY
Bowlers Gain Upper Hand Bowlers took the honours in a day of low scoring when the final round of the Ashley senior cricket competition began on Saturday. Rangiora held the leading Kaiapoi team to what could be its lowest score of the season. Rapley (Kaiapoi) tied up the Rangiora batsmen, taking six for 19, while I. Sail during his 24 consecutive overs for Rangiora took three for 29. Scores:—
