Centuries By Stone, Adams Two batsmen, G. Stone and C. Adams, scored centuries in the Malvern senior cricket competition on Saturday. Stone was 96 not out last week and added another 23 runs before Hororata declared. Adams batted forcefully for his 105, and G. Wright scored an aggressive 82 for Kirwee. Scores were:— Sheffield 223 beat South Malvern 48 and 98 (R. Stuart 39; B. Grant 3/19, D. Carroll 3/27). Hororata 204/4 dec. (G. Stone 119 not out, G. Rowe 36 not out 92/4 (J. Davis 29 not out) beat Kirwee 157 and 180/5 dec. (G. Wright 82, J. Dysart 28: N. Rothwell 3/37) on the first innings. Darfield 426/9 dec. drew with Greendale 292/4 (C. Adams 105, B. Ridgen 63, K. Shipley 40 not out).
