SPOTSWOOD TODAY

Guide For Addington

The showings of several horses at the Spotswood meeting today could have a bearing on betting trends at the Canterbury Park Trotting Club’s autumn meeting at Addington Raceway next Tuesday night. One race, in particular, which is bound to create interest is the Spotswood Two-year-old Handicap, first leg of the double. Six of the 14 youngsters in this event are also acceptors for the Pilgrims’ Stakes next Tuesday night. The second leg of today’s double will be the Thunder Handicap, an event for maiden sprinters.

The nine-race card also includes two qualifying trials, two free-for-alls and two races for trotters.
