Ravenwood Likely In Rotorua Cup
“The Press” Special Service
AUCKLAND. Ravenwood and Dark Intrigue, with thedr ability to get away quickly and hold a good position, seem two of the best prospects for the Rotorua Cup today.
If the cup winner comes from the middle of the field or further back it might be Honestly, Calm Comet or Wilful. Hilldale is another of the field’s very free gallopers and Mr Dickens and Royal Tax are other chances in a race Full of possibilities. The return to racing of Farmer’s Boy. makes the Tourist Handicap, the second leg of the T.A.B. double, more than usually interesting. The hardest for him to beat might be Tavern Time, Prince Manu and Udare. The fine spell seems likely to continue and the going should be good.
