Capstick 2/10), on the first innings. Woodend 140 and 47/1 beat Carleton 42 and 144 (C. Fenwick 58, A. O’Loughlin 23: R. Merrin 5/63; G. Creamer 3/26, B. Cobden 2/12), by nine Ohoka 127 (N. Coates 8/38) and 162/7 (N. Bailey 37, E. Bailey 50 not out) beat Rangiora 123 and 185/9 dec. (J. Hirst 37; E. Bailey 4/46, J. Scott, 3/44, D. Crichton 2/51), on the first innings.
