Shark-Warning Gongs
t.V.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 18. Surf life-saving clubs in the Wellington district decided last night to install sharkwarning gongs within reach of the public as soon as possible. If a shark is sighted, a member of the public will be able to sound the alarm, thus reducing the time lost in warning people to leave the . water.
