The New Zealand Labour Party was not enraptured with the Victorian State Labour Party’s decision to use attractive young women as hostesses "to add glamour to the game of politics.” the party’s general secretary, Mr A. J. McDonald, said today. “I think our policy will be sufficient without having to glamorise it.” The Leader of the Opposition (Mr Kirk) said. “In spite of its origin, the idea hardly sounds Victorian.”
