£12 Stolen In Cathedral
I A thief yesterday after- , noon stole £l2 in the Christchurch Cathedral, the money [ being taken from the verger’s i cash-box.
A United States five-dollar bill, a i ’io, and other articles of a total value of £37 18s were stolen from a, house in Annex road between' January 1 and January 10 A burglar entered the Singing Kettle, 150 Gloucester j street, on Monday night and stole £6. An attempt was made to enter a fruit shop in Linwood[ avenue on Monday night. A transistor radio valued at £l3 was stolen from a ear parked in Dallington terrace on January 11. and another transistor radio, valued at [ £ll. was stolen from a car i parked in Hereford street on | Monday.
Struck By Bus.—A boy who was struck by a bus about 5.30 p.m. yesterday in Seaview road, near the NewBrighton School, suffered onlyminor injuries. The boy is Ivan Beattie and his address is Kaikoura.
