Names Not In Pass List

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 14. Two successful candidates for the University Entrance examination had their names inadvertently omitted from the pass list issued by the University Grants Committee. They are Mrs Joan H. Simons (Correspondence School) and Pamela J. Jenkins, of Marlborough Girls’ College. Mrs Simons’s name was omitted due to a mix-up when she changed her mind about the centre at which she would sit the examination, a University Grants Committee officer said today. The other omission was because of a machine fault.
