DUTIES: To devise and implement informal education programmes acceptable to rural youth between the ages 10 to 25 years. Examples of subject areas are: art, drama, music, literature, citizenship, comparative institutions and cultures, and current affairs. The methods include training of member and adult leaders, the preparation of resource material, con ducting residential schools, and advising on club programmes and private study. EXTENSION OFFICER LEADER TRAINING AND GROUP DEVELOPMENT QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent with training in the social sciences. An academic qualification in group development would be an advantage. Experience in informal education work with re cognised adult or youth groups essential for appointment to the senior range. DUTIES: To devise and implement development programmes at State, regional, and club level for rural youth between the ages of 10 to 25 years.
