Second Rock Oyster Trial
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 14. Marine Department officials are setting up another experiment in rock-oyster farming using new developments they hope will prove productive. “We are putting down large beds again this year in the Bay of Islands and Kaipara harbour,” Mr R. A. Squires, Auckland district marine superintendent, said today. “We had no success with the beds we put down last year.”
