£loom. Earning Estimated (Special Crspdt. NZ.P A.) LONDON, Jan. 12. Scotch whisky exports during 1965 are expected to earn more than £lOO million, according to the “Scotsman." At the end of November 35,612,000 gallons had been exported, bringing the year’s earnings to £96,036,000 —more than the total earnings abroad of the industry during 1939 and nearly as much as 1947. The United States took over half the gallonage. France has returned to the number two position in overseas markets. Australia was close behind and then followed West Germany, Belgium and Canada.
