Squadron Leader D. C. McGlashan, officer commanding the Electrical and Wireless School at the Royal New Zealand Air Force station at Wigram since 1960, retired yesterday. He spent 28) years in the service. He was twice mentioned in dispatches, once in France in 1940 and again in the Pacific in 1943. Mr T. M. McMullen has been appointed manager of the proposed new Canterbury exhibition centre where developments in the building trade will be displayed. Since January, 1964, Mr McMullen has been technical advisory officer at the Building Display and Development Centre in Auckland. He has written many articles on building and design.

Mr S. D. Sinclair has been reappointed a member of the New Zealand Apple and Pear Marketing Board for three years. He was nominated by the New Zealand Fruitgrowers Association. Ltd. The Ruapuna Domain Board recently announced by the Minister of Lands (Mr Gerard) is comprised of Messrs J. W. Allan, K. J. B. Early, J. G. King, V. C. Latimer, T. J. McKeown, E. B. S. McLauchlan, H. B. McLay, W. G. A. Taylor and G. F. Wise. Mr A. B. Rogers has been appointed a member, of the Cave Domain Board, to replace Mr J. W Richmond, who resigned.
