Sir, —No doubt, shoe repairers in this city deserve their holidays as much as anyone; but is there any reason why they should all abandon their lasts, and those fascinating mouthfuls of small tacks, more or less at the same time, leaving us to walk about practically barefoot?— Yours, etc., ILAM.
