Married, Then Fined

(N.Z. Press Association) \ AUCKLAND, Jan. 13. A 39-year-old driver, William Thomas Young, was fined a total of £220 by Mr F. McCarthy, S.M., yesterday—just one day after he was married. Young and Leonard James Gallot, aged 38, unemployed, were both convicted of selling liquor on December 28 without a licence. Young was also convicted of keeping liquor without a licence, and of using a house as a resort for the consumption of liquor. Both pleaded not guilty. Gallot was fined £25.
