C. is to blacklist l anyone who takes part in shows broadcast by the radio ■‘pirates,” as part of a new get-tough policy tv check plans by the outlawed stations to broaden their appeal, says the “Sunday Telegraph.” Radio London-—the biggest of the “pirates”—has attacked the ban as “political axegrinding” and has accused the 8.8. C. of “utter hypocrisy.” The new policy was disclosed when Radio London tried to arrange for some of its disc jockeys to appear on the television programme, “Juke Box Jury.” A 8.8. C. spokesman said. I “Our contracts for disc jockey work are not normally exclusive. But if anyone took part in “pirate” shows, they would be placing themselves in jeopardy.”
