Youth Found Dead

The body of a youth who disappeared mysteriously yesterday from the south-bound Sunlander express was found today. It was floating in the Burrum river, 179 miles north of Brisbane. The Police Commissioner, Mr Bischof, has ordered an intensive investigation into the death of the youth, David Arthur Ludwick, aged 16, of Cardwell, North Queensland: He was travelling south for a holiday with his sister at Yandilla, 128 miles south-east of Brisbane. Travellers on the train reported the youth missing when the glass window at the foot of his sleeping berth was found broken.
