POSTAL CATEGORY CHANGE
Changes in the postal rates between New Zealand and overseas which took effect on January 1 included the abolition of the commercial paper category in the overseas post. Items previously in this category are now handled as either printed papers or letters. Manuscripts, musical scores, and pupils’ exercises and correspondence are now classified as printed papers, while legal documents, commercial papers, and most formal documents are handled as letters.
