VISITORS TO BRITAIN
Increase On 1965 Figures (Special Crspdt. N.ZPA.) LONDON, January 11. Nearly two million foreign visitors came to Britain in the first 10 months of 1965, says the British Travel Association. The 1,977,000 arrivals represented an increase of 223,000 over the same period for the record-breaking 1964. Although details of Commonwealth visitors during the first 10 months of the year are not available, they are expected to be considerably higher than 1964. Visitors from Europe increased by 137,000 to 1,193,000 and from the United States, 79,000 to 46.000.
