Australians On Tour

A party of Australian tourists under the leadership of the Rev. H. R. Heaton, director of Christian tourism in Brisbane, arrived in Christchurch on Sunday after a tour of the South Island, and left yesterday to begin a tour of the North Island. Mr Heaton is a minister of the Queensland Methodist Conference, and is responsible for conducting tours in Australia and abroad for those interested in travelling within a Christian Fellowship. As well as an annual tour to New Zealand, Mr Heaton leads a pilgrimmage to the Holy Land, and this year some New Zealanders are expected to join.
