Five Burglaries
Cigarettes and groceries valued at £ll9 were stolen when Earnshaw’s G.H.B. Store in Curletts road, was burgled during the week-end.
A house in Rotherham street was entered on Saturday, but nothing has been reported as being taken. The premises of Ballins Industries, Byron street, were entered on Sunday and liquor valued at £7 14s was taken. A transistor radio was taken from a house in Barbadoes street during the day on January 7, and on January 6 or January 7 the premises of the Canterbury Engineering Company Ltd., in Hands road, were entered and property valued at £lO Is 9d was taken.
