RESCUE AT SUMNER
Boat Towed To Shore
Two men were rescued yesterday by the Sumner lifeboat when the motor of their boat, the Capri, stopped about 1 p.m. They were Messrs I. Harper, of 51 Scarborough hill, and G. Given, of Russley. The Capri was about a mile from shore when the alarm was given. The two men were attempting to make their way to shore using their ski boards as paddles against a strong south-westerly wind. The lifeboat towed the disabled Capri to shore.
