China today publ attack on Dr. Fidel Ci leader came to power s It accused him of speaking unilaterally and untruthfully about current trade negotiations between the two countries.

PEKING, January 10. lished its first direct astro since the Cuban even years ago. The “People’s Daily,” organ of the Chinese Communist Party, said Dr. Castro in a speech in Havana last Monday had taken a step “which is extraordinary in normal State relations.” The newspaper said the Chinese and Cuban delegations had tentatively agreed upon a trade volume lower than that of 1965. “But it is still higher than that of 1962 or 1963 and is roughly the same as that for 1964,” it was reported. Timing of Speech

A Chinese Government official regretted Dr. Castro’s disclosures, made on the eve of the conference in the Cuban capital of the first Afro-Asian and Latin American conference of antiimperialist forces. He said the timing of the speech offered food for thought, a remark seen by observers in Peking as a hint that the Chinese viewed the disclosures as an attempt to win support at the conference of those opposing the Chinese line in the Communist Ideological struggle.
