More Sections To Re Sold
The Lands and Survey Department is to offer another 43 sections for sale by ballot in Christchurch. Thirty-eight sections are in the Bishopdale area, one at Kaiapoi, two at Northcote, one at Cashmere, and one at Wainoni. All the sections will be offered at the same time, and applications are to be invited early next month. The Bishopdale sections are in Martbern crescent, Cotswold avenue, Fairford street, Westerieigh street, and Armifcjgp street. Applications for inclusion in the ballot will be accepted from anyone over the age of 17 who is landless. Values of the properties are at present being determined.
