CLAY’S NEXT FIGHT

Matched With “Giraffe” (N.Z.P A .-Reuter—Copyright) CHICAGO. The world heavy-weight boxing champion, Cassius Clay, is to defend his title in Chicago within three months. He said on Saturday that he would fight Ernie Terrell, who holds the World Boxing Association version of the title. Clay said he would not fight Brian London, of England. The fight with Terrell, the lanky Chicago boxer whom Clay calls "the giraffe,” was now being negotiated.

"As yet we do not have a promoter or a site in Chicago but I expect it will come off in about 10 weeks,” Clay said.

"I want to have a fight al least every four months.”
