(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE. The women's world 440 yards record-holder, Mrs Judy Pollock, was only half a second outside her world time when she won the Victorian title at Melbourne on Saturday.
Her time of 52.95ec clipped .2sec off the State record —the third time this season she has improved it. Earlier, she had won the 100 yards final in llsec.
