T.A.B.

Sir.—Another genuine complaint which demands an explanation. Directly after the running of the first race at Marlborough, the scratchings for the second race were given, and one scratching included Taiko. I got that scratching back. Immediately after the second race was run, I went up to the T.A.B. to back a horse in the fifth race, and w-hat did I find? Despite the fact that the third and fourth races were closed. Taiko had still not been scratched in the second race. How much longer must the public suffer this sort of thing?—Yours, etc.. EDWARD H. C. BARTLETT. April 14, 1961. (A proof of this letter was sent to the Totalisatbr Agency Board inviting its comment. No reply has been received.]
