Cook Strait Cable
Sir,—l would like to ask the Minister of Works (Mr Goosman) if he has any information on the cost of protection to the Cook Strait cable and converter stations in time of peace to prevent sudden destruction in time of war.—Yours, etc., TAXPAYER March 14. 1961. [This letter was sent to the Minister of Works for comment but no reply has been received.]
