Yare Has New Trainer

The Southland pacer, Yare, entered C. S. Donald’s Belfast team after he had won the R. A. McDowell Memorial Handicap at the Oamaru Trotting Club’s meeting last Saturday. Yare, a five-year-old stallion by Logan Derby from Rustic Maid, is raced on lease by his former trainer. A. Mclntyre, from the Gore studmaster, Mr G. Youngson, who has Jolly Ha! in Donald’s team. Yare has had four wins and six placings from 13 starts this season. He will probably have his first start for his new trainer at the Canterbury Park Trotting Club’s winter meeting at Addington next week.
